PRODUCT REVIEW: Leather Multitool for fixed gear from GB Leather

Today is time to talk about tools... as great fixed gear lovers we love to mount and dismount the parts and components of our fixed gear bike, always improving it!
And there is a tool really appreciated for all of us: the lockring tool...this rare but basic tool for all of us, we love to change our cogs, more teeth, less teeth...
Today we will test a genuine handmade tool from GB Leather, located in Poland, but worldwide shipping.

Leather Multitool from GB Leather review

We have tested this GB Leather Multitool with our flip flop wheel in our Prism Cycles bike, we had the the cog not ok, and we have had to tighten. When you receive the tool it comes in a nice cardboard box with the vegetable leather handle removed, you only need to insert the tool in the handle, it's really easy.

  • Chain whip
  • Lockring tool
  • 15mm box wrench for track nuts
  • Hardened steel - 5mm
  • Vegetable-tanned natural leather
  • Length: 22cm

About GB Leather

Here we have as GB Leather's founder talk about himself:
Hi there, my name is Bartosz. I was born in Gdynia, Poland, where I graduated from Architecture at the Gdansk University of Technology.

For more than three years I’ve been interested in leatherwork and I keep deepening my knowledge. Thanks to that I can guarantee that my products are the best possible.

The products are the outcome of my reflections on functionality. I decided also to use local materials - as far as possible. Or simply the best that I can find. What does ecology mean to me? It's not just recycling and using reusable packaging. It is also using the products made with passion from the best materials available that, with a little care and conservation, will survive for years.

Everything I have in my offer is done by myself. Starting from visual identification, through products and ending with packing items. I hope you'll like them.
